How May I Pray?

Since we are all beggars before the Almighty, Holy and Self-giving heavenly Father, let us turn again, as always, to His Word for assistance on how to pray.
Jesus on the cross prayed, Luke 23:34, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Who votes for self-genocide and increasing insignificance? Everyone in the United States who votes so-called “Pro-Choice” does. Everyone so deceived by the devil does. Everyone who is convinced God is so small that He cannot provide “daily bread” for the people of the world. (People believing there is no God.) Everyone who is in love with ease and comfort and entertainment does this. Everyone who calls evil good and good evil, Isaiah 5:20.
When we pray for their forgiveness, we pray for God to open the door to their understanding, that they might see anew their spiritual poverty and throw themselves on God’s mercy. Then they might pray along with all of us and King David, “Have mercy on me, O God…Blot out my transgressions. Wash me…cleanse me from my sin…You desire truth in the inward parts…Create in me a clean heart…and renew a steadfast spirit within me…Restore to me the joy of Your salvation…Then will I teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You…The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise.”
They also might pray with us and with Daniel (9:5) “…we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. Neither have we heeded Your servants the prophets…” Psalm 130:4,5, and 7, “But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word do I hope…O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption.”
The Holy Spirit inspired a movement recently. Their prayer was, “Jesus, pido tu sangre sobre mis peccados and los peccados de my nacion. Dios, pare aborcion y mande renacamiento en America, en el nombre Jesu Cristo.” “Jesus, I plead your Blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, stop abortion and send renewal to America, In Jesus Name!” Psalm 138:6, “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me.” Praise God! Praise God! Amen!
