How Was Your Worship
May 6th, 2024
How Was Your Worship on Sunday?Christians and especially “wannabe-Christians” will ask each other in the early part of the week. How was your worship? What meaning did it have? How did it make you feel? Did you feel butterflies? Did your skin crawl with excitement? Did you feel like running? Dancing? Shouting? Did you shed a tear? Did anyone weep, moan, or shriek? Did God show up? We all want to j...

WHY DO I SAY “Mercy”?Jim Freudenstein, 2-22-2024, 832-654-7791, jfreud1953@gmail.comWhy do I say “Mercy”? Repeatedly? At unusual times? In unusual places? Sometimes as a grunt? Sometimes as a groan? Sometimes as a sigh? Sometimes as a shout? Often with tears? “Mercy!” Why do I say “Mercy”?In our world we have a predicament. Watchmen whom God has placed all over the world, are seeing the falling of...

Watchmen, Speak Up
February 5th, 2024
Jim Freudenstein, 1-30-2024, 832-654-7791, jfreud1953@gmail.comEvery man of God responsible for sharing with God’s people God’s holy Word has a grave duty. This is not to be taken lightly! That is why we study hard, pray diligently, and with fear and trembling attempt the task of preaching, teaching, and sharing.Ezekiel 33:1-20 ups the ante and heightens this tension. Weigh with reverent minds the...
Are We Trusting Jesus?
December 11th, 2023
Are We All Trusting Jesus?Summertime is a wonderful time for outdoor fun and family vacations. All winter long the planned for activities are talked about and eagerly waited for. Then comes the decisive moment. The sun is shining. The pool is there. The water is there. The swimsuits are on. The famous “floaties” are around the middle and on the arms. Daddy says “Jump!” Some children jump quickly. ...

“God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.” 1 John 4:9b

At the heart of Lutherans For Life is Good News -- Good News that brings hope to a culture so focused on death:
  • Abortion destroys nearly 3,000 children every day.
  • Imposed death through assisted suicide and euthanasia threatens to destroy our elderly and disabled with or without their permission.
  • Bio-technologies such as embryonic stem cell research, cloning, in vitro fertilization, and genetic manipulation can challenge God's Authorship and Lordship of life.
Lutherans need to...
  • Take a stand with God's Word of Law and call wrong things wrong.
  • Share God's Word of Gospel, the Good News of life in Jesus, so people will know they have someone they can trust in every situation -- someone to turn to for hope and healing when mistakes are made.
Lutherans For Life...
  • Applies God's Word, both His Law and His Gospel, to all the life issues -- abortion, chastity, assisted suicide and euthanasia, and bio-technology.
  • Assists For Life Christians in offering the hope and help of the Good News of Jesus Christ to women with an untimely pregnancy; women, men, and families suffering under the guilt of an abortion; young people with questions and concerns about sexuality; and the elderly and those with disabilities or terminal illnesses.
  • Believes God gives the gift of life to all people -- from the moment of conception until natural death.

“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10

Texas Rally for Life

Once a year in January, we march around the Capitol in Austin, Texas, to be a voice for the innocent lives that have no voice. We listen to speakers' firsthand accounts of survival, stories of grief, redemption, and from those who make a difference in government and society providing valuable resources for women, children, and their families. We sing, we pray, and we come away inspired by the Holy Spirit to defend our most basic right, LIFE.
This rally is organized by Texas Right to Life, who keeps us informed about legislation specific to Texas.

Blue Buses

We support the Houston Coalition For Life, whose Blue Buses bring hope and support to women in crisis pregnancy. Much of our fund-raising efforts go to providing medical services, counseling, classes, baby blankets, diapers, food, and household needs for these families. Building a network of organizations devoted to saving lives is crucial in a big city community as diverse as Houston.

Stand & Pray

Our devotion to standing in public and peacefully praying for an end to abortion has saved hundreds of babies and mothers, as well as leading abortion workers from their jobs to close numerous abortion facilities. We pray because God's gift of life to people is precious in His sight, in all stages -- from womb to tomb.
Your life is valuable.
If you're struggling with this today here's a
 Word of Hope.
